East Africa

Daily Nation – independent Kenyan news organisation with comprehensive news on the country in particular and Africa more generally

– covering economics and business of the region

Tanzania
Tanzania has a lot of English-language newspapers, and according to recent research from Synovate, Tanzanian media was deemed fairly impartial in the massive coverage of the country’s presidential elections that were held 31st October 2010. The ones I’ve read weekly are listed below.
